This aromatic herb has been cultivated since ancient times for its medicinal properties. It is now at the heart of Mediterranean cuisine.

With its refreshingly herbaceous taste, mint enhances the flavour of baked dishes such as a traditional Briami made with potatoes, eggplant, tomatoes, and zucchini. Mint adds flavour to tabbouleh, kebabs, tagine, or a salad made with oranges or tomatoes and cucumbers. It also marries deliciously with chocolate for refreshing desserts like ice cream, cakes, mousse, and fruit salad. Excellent when infused or in flavoured water, it is greatly appreciated for its digestive properties.

SPECIAL TIP: For an infusion, use 1-2 stems per cup, to taste. Place the mint stems in a pot of boiling water, cover and turn off the heat. Let it infuse for 4 to 6 minutes depending on the desired strength. Filter and enjoy as is or with honey and fresh lemon juice.

Contraindications :

Children under 12 and pregnant or nursing women should avoid Pennyroyal mint. Do not overuse. There might be other contraindications.
