An exceptional olive oil for unforgettable recipes.  This black truffle flavour olive oil is made by infusing real pieces of black truffle “Tuber Melanosporum” enhanced by a truffle aroma into an extra virgin olive oil. The combination of these two raw ingredients creates a subtly flavoured olive oil. Its fine, delicate flavour remains faithful to the taste of fresh black truffle.

This oil goes well with asparagus risotto, southwestern salad, fresh tagliatelle or pappardelle, mashed potatoes or scrambled egg. It’s also great in sauces for white meats, parsnip velouté or split pea soup. It’s a great finishing touch on oven baked chicken, too!

 

Ingredients: extra virgin olive oil 98 %, black truffle extract*
1 % (Tuber melanosporum), natural flavouring.
*2 g of black truffle (Tuber melanosporum) are needed to flavour 1 L of olive oil.
Store in a cool dark place.

In addition to a great selection including hard-to-find items, the customer service at this establishment is in a category that I did not know still existed. I have ordered from this great store over the internet and with one order there was a question with a quantity I ordered and the staff called me the same day to make sure I had not made a mistake. They also know their products very well and are happy to help. Their selection is very extensive. For those of us in the US, have no worries about things taking a long time to arrive from our helpful knowledgeable neighbors to the North! I just received another order from this great store and echo my previous comments! Quick service and your order arrives perfectly packaged. Could not be happier with the products and service.
