OUR STORY

A LITTLE HISTORY

Our shop was founded by Éolie on Fleury Street in Montreal in 2013. At the time, it was called Les Ustensiles d'Éolie. When Mathieu took over in 2019, the name was changed and the product offering evolved to include fine foods, new product lines for kitchenware, BBQ and cocktails.

My name is Helen and, since January 2022, I am the new owner of Papille Urbaine, together with my partner in life and in entrepreneurship, Tasso.

We have developed the online store to better serve you. You will have access to all the products that were in our boutique and much more! At the moment we do not have a physical store, but we are looking for a new location. We will continue to evolve our products to offer you interesting, tasty and useful products! 

VISION 

Papille Urbaine represents for us an expression of the gastronomic spirit of Quebec and Montreal. 

Our vision for our store is to present you with quality products that reflect what is related to traditional and modern Quebec gastronomy, to showcase Quebec products, especially artisanal products from small producers. We would like you to discover their stories as much as their products, to discover the human being behind each company. 

Our vision also includes the discovery of exceptional products from elsewhere. Reflecting the gastronomic variety of Montreal, Papille Urbaine will offer you a range of exceptional artisanal products with regional and international flavours.

MISSION 

Our mission is to bring you products that you can savor, that you can use to make your life easier and full of goodness. 

We are looking for quality products, originating in respect for the environment and for human beings. We aim above all to support small producers and promote their offer. 

We would like to pass on our enthusiasm for exceptional products made with love, artisanal cuisine, home cooking and of course cocktails!
