Have you ever noticed that most olive oils are available only in the spring, almost six months after their harvest? Exclusive to LA BELLE EXCUSE, they introduce to you their first harvest of Mavrolïa olive oil. At the end of October, as soon as they press the olives, they bottle the oil and bring it to you right away! The Brut olive oil is not decanted, unfiltered and has an acidity level of 0,3%.

 

CHARACTERISTICS: Veiled with golden highlights and a slight deposit. Smooth with a strong olive flavor and intense peppery taste.

 

USE: It’s entirely up to you! La Brut is here only once a year so it is suggested you use it right away to savor its very unique flavor. Try this Belle Excuse on your salads, your favorite bread, grilled fish fillets, pasta or simply to enhance the flavor of a hearty homemade soup.

 

NOTE: The oil will decant naturally with time. Shake before use for smoother texture. It will keep for 24 months after the harvest date. Gluten Free.

In addition to a great selection including hard-to-find items, the customer service at this establishment is in a category that I did not know still existed. I have ordered from this great store over the internet and with one order there was a question with a quantity I ordered and the staff called me the same day to make sure I had not made a mistake. They also know their products very well and are happy to help. Their selection is very extensive. For those of us in the US, have no worries about things taking a long time to arrive from our helpful knowledgeable neighbors to the North!
