OUR STORY

A LITTLE HISTORY

Our shop was founded on Fleury Street in Montreal in 2013. At the time, it was called Les Ustensiles. In 2019, the name was changed to Papille Urbaine and the product offering evolved to include new product lines for cooking, BBQ and cocktails. In 2022, the online boutique was introduced and made the shop available to new customers outside of Quebec. For ease of pronunciation, the shop's English name became Urban Palate.


VISION

Papille Urbaine - Urban Palate represents for us an expression of the gastronomic spirit of Quebec and Montreal.

Our vision is to present you with quality products that reflect what is related to traditional and modern Quebec gastronomy. To showcase Quebec products, especially artisanal products from small producers. We would like you to discover their stories as much as their products, to discover the human being behind each company.

Our vision also includes the discovery of exceptional products from elsewhere. Reflecting the gastronomic variety of Montreal, Papille Urbaine - Urban Palate will offer you a range of exceptional artisanal products with regional and international flavors.

We are looking for products made with concern for quality, respect for the environment and for human beings. We aim above all to support small producers and promote their offer.
