El haba tonka es muy fragante, desprende notas cálidas y dulces que recuerdan a los aromas de almendras dulces y heno cortado. Una mirada más cercana revela notas cremosas de cuero, cera, almendra y vainilla. Algunos percibirán un toque de caramelo, tabaco o miel.

La haba tonka pertenece a la familia Fabaceae. Se encuentra en el fruto de la teca brasileña (una madera tropical preciosa e imputrescible). Se utiliza desde hace mucho tiempo en cosmética y, más concretamente, en perfumería, y sólo recientemente ha conquistado nuestros platos.

Una combinación perfecta : El haba tonka se puede utilizar finamente rallado: realza perfectamente cremas, pasteles y tartas. Hechizante, un poco enigmático; El haba tonka es especialmente apreciado por los pasteleros y chocolateros. Se combina sutilmente con chocolate y postres a base de frutas. El resultado son combinaciones asombrosas de sabores.

En el registro salado, las habas tonka se utilizan enteras o partidas, durante una cocción prolongada (Por ejemplo: carrillera de cerdo o estofado de ternera). In addition to a great selection including hard-to-find items, the customer service at this establishment is in a category that I did not know still existed. I have ordered from this great store over the internet and with one order there was a question with a quantity I ordered and the staff called me the same day to make sure I had not made a mistake. They also know their products very well and are happy to help. Their selection is very extensive. For those of us in the US, have no worries about things taking a long time to arrive from our helpful knowledgeable neighbors to the North! I just received another order from this great store and echo my previous comments! Quick service and your order arrives perfectly packaged. Could not be happier with the products and service.
