The unit features 4 ceramic slots for knives:

  • Standard (Western): Coarse slot for sharpening, Fine slot for honing.
  • Asian (Japanese): Coarse slot for sharpening, Fine slot for honing.
  • Scissors: A unique fifth slot specifically shaped to sharpen shears.

Safety & Ease of Use
Designed for safety and stability, the sharpener features a non-slip rubberized bottom and a unique safety grip that keeps fingers away from the sharp blade. The comfortable, contoured handle is suitable for both right- and left-handed use.

Sharpening Instructions:

  • Select Style: Choose the correct slots (Western or Asian) for the knife.
  • Sharpen (Coarse): Insert knife perpendicular to the sharpener. Pull from heel to tip with moderate pressure (approx. 20 times).
  • Hone (Fine): Move to the Fine stage. Pull from heel to tip with light pressure (5-10 times) to polish the edge.
  • Test: Check sharpness on a piece of paper.
